Enjoy a light lunch at noon before a bus tour of the historic Chicago neighborhood of North Lawndale! Bus departs CEC at 1:15 pm and returns at 4:45 pm.

North Lawndale has a history that goes back well into the mid 1800s. Home of the original Sears Tower, North Lawndale’s has a legacy that includes a rich Jewish history, as well as a legacy left by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. himself. 

Our tour will be guided by the not-for-profit Chicago Mahogany Foundation, dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of Chicago's rich history, and subsequently raising civic pride among all the city's residents.
