Join Rabbi Wainer for an alternative Rosh Hashanah Day 2 Experiential service at Starved Rock. This will include an initial hike/walk of approximately 3 miles (mostly flat path with some stairs) leading to our Tashlich experience at St. Louis Canyon. This trail is appropriate for children, in addition to adults. Depending on timing, we may do another short hike/walk depending on what the group would like to do. Throughout the hike, there will be questions for discussion, as well as prayers to recite. 

Following our hike, please feel free to join us for a BYO picnic lunch near the Visitor's Center. 

Please dress appropriately and make sure to bring water so that everyone stays hydrated! 

We will meet outside the visitor center and will depart from there at 10:30 AM.

All participants are encouraged to join our WhatsApp group which will enable us to communicate ongoing location updates, weather updates, and discussion questions and prompts throughout the hike.
