Enjoy a delicious dairy dinner and celebrate Shavuot! One of Judaism’s oldest holidays, Shavuot celebrates the revelation of the Torah, coincides with the beginning of summer, and traditionally includes eating a lot of dairy. Our celebration will have something for everyone!

Event Schedule

5:30 PM - KIDdish Club Shavuot Service (Sanctuary)
A new favorite among young families, KIDdish Club services are geared towards kids aged 0-7, their siblings and their adults.

5:30 PM - Shavuot Learning Opportunity (Library)
Rabbi C will be leading a learning opportunity on Shavuot, which is conversely one of our less commonly discussed holidays, despite it being one of our earliest traditions.

5:45 PM - Dinner in the Lot
In honor of the Ashkenazi tradition, we'll be enjoying a delicious dairy dinner. We'll be having Gayle V's gourmet catering (including the greatest grilled cheese ever).

Grilled Cheese in 4 Styles: Classic, Southport, Margarita, & Little Italy (no pepperoni)
Mac-n-cheese, Fruit Salad, House-made Potato chips
10 GF Pitas, 3 Vegan
Cubes of Cheesecake

7:00 PM - Shavuot Service
After we've filled up on dinner, we'll head into the Sanctuary for a special Shavuot Service.
